Peaches

I love this video by the Presidents of the United States of America. It is definitely a gem in the non-sense music videos. Yet another reason to love the '90's - ridiculously briliant music videos.

Changedotgov: Join the health care conversation

This is the newest video from President-elect Obama's transition team. They had asked the people of America what they thought about healthcare and have thousands of comments. So they posted this video to catch everyone up and ask for even more input. That's cool, but what I really love is Tom Daschle's glasses.

BoingBoing Dirty Dancing Death Elf

On BoingBoing.net they have BoingBoing tv, which is fantastic and random. This video is just a fun way to start the weekend. And really, is there much better than random dancing from game avatars?

The Machine is Us/ing Us

I love this video because it beautifully demonstrates the argument that our relationship to machines, and especially the internet, is incredibly complicated. We have created each of the technologies that we use on a regular basis, but we are also being created by our use of these technologies. And as we and our technology advance, this intermingling of both identities will become even more difficult to sort out. The guy that created this video is brilliant.

The Original Human TETRIS

A friend of mine told me to look up "human tetris" online, and when I did I found this video. As best as I can tell, it is by preformance artist Guillaume Reymond. I love the music to this video, along with the number of people that were needed. And for the record, what my friend wanted me to see was this video (before it became a real gameshow in the U.S.).

Sarah Palin Video at Turkey Farm

Yet another video I found via BoingBoing. I know I'm late in posting this, but I didn't have this blog up when Sarah Palin decided to go out and have some fun. It definitely needs to be here, because videos don't get much more random than this. Warning to the squeamish - don't watch this if you can't handle where the meat part of your meal comes from.

Paul Steel 'Honkin On My Crack Pipe'

I saw this first as a post on BoingBoing.net and I laughed so hard, I knew I needed to share it with others. I had never heard of Paul Steel before, but after listening to this song, I've put his cd on my list of albums to own. Oh! and since the original post that I saw this on had a warning about the language, I should probably pass that along, though what the language was that some might protest I can't remember.

Japanese Learning English

Those are the key words I use to find this video on youtube when I want to share it with others. And I can always find it. I think I just stumbled upon this video during a random search through youtube, and I am always glad that I found it. These women never get old to me. I just wish that I understood Japanese culture better to know what purpose this served.

What I'm doing with this blog

As I meander around the internets, I come across a plethora of videos. They make me laugh, or they mezmorize me, or they outrage me, but for soome reason I feel as though I need to share them with others. So this is the forum I've chosen to do that within. I think that people create these videos and post them online for people to watch, so that's what I'm doing here. So I hope you enjoy these videos!
